Duties
- Support day-to-day drafting operations.
- Develop an understanding of the food service industry.
- Reference architectural, MEP, and structural drawings to ensure design accuracy.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create designs based on customers’ needs and written specifications.
- Utilize Auto Quotes to create proposals based on created designs.
- Develop a working knowledge and proficiency of AutoCAD, Revit, and Auto Quotes.
- Reference equipment specification sheets to develop accurate designs and equipment schedules for coordination with architects and MEP professionals.
- Develop and send equipment manuals and specification sheets to customers.
Qualifications
- Pursuit of certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting.
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence and ability to prioritize and work on concurrent projects with little supervision.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in front of computer.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to climb ladders.
