Duties
- Customer Relations: project meetings, coordination meetings between all disciplines.
- Site Surveys: project meetings, produce project site survey drawings.
- Drawing Production: including but not limited to taking the approved floor plan/layout and turning it into working documents, permit submission plans, refrigeration permit plans, hood and fire suppression permit plans, and construction plans.
- Producing 3D rendering models for client meetings to assist the customer in understanding the final space layout.
- Project Quoting: utilizing Auto Quotes, producing large project equipment and accessory quotes, submitting quotes to customers for approvals.
- Vendor Relations: working with vendors to keep up to date with new trends of equipment we could present to our customers.
- Small Equipment Quotes: producing quotes for single unit swap outs and/or replacements or additions to a location.
- Project Management Coordination: providing the appropriate information needed to manufacturers for production of show drawings, reviewing shop drawings and approval.
- Internal company coordination on project installations, assisting with scheduling installations and providing information for the project to CRS’s Project Manager.
- Receiving Reports: producing and distributing receiving reports based on approved quotes to the CRS team.
Qualifications
- Serve Safe certification.
- Associates Degree (drafting, architectural design).
- Minimum of 2 years required in a design profession.
- Preferred food service design background.
- Food service equipment, commercial kitchen operations knowledge.
- Architectural design knowledge.
- Code and Department of Ag regulations.
- Knowledge and use of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Fluent in all MS Office programs.
- Ability to stay on task and organized.
- Must be able to work on multiple jobs simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform site visits, including but not limited to: crawl spaces, kitchen areas, roof top (accessing via roof ladder/hatch or portable ladder), mechanical/electrical rooms.
- Must be able to use a forklift and/or pallet jack to receive/stage equipment.
- Must be able to life and move around equipment up to 50 lbs.
