Overview

The Warranty Coordinator position will assist with the processing and tracking of warranty claims, ensuring timely verification, and approval of claims between internal teams and external vendors. You will also maintain accurate warranty records and act as a liaison to resolve customer warranty claim inquiries and drive continuous improvement in warranty service processes.

Duties

  • Prepare, review and process all warranty claims according to manufacturer’s requirements
  • Create, develop, and maintain professional relationships with new and existing manufacturers
  • Document and track claims through completion
  • Adhere to warranty guidelines, agreements, and company policies
  • Assist various departments to fulfill all warranty requirements
  • Gather additional required information from technicians to assist in the verification processes of warranty on commercial restaurant equipment
  • Develop new ways to serve our customers throughout the warranty process
  • Update internal warranty records to maintain filing compliance
  • Maintain knowledge on various manufacturer warranty programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret written instructions, work orders, and contractual agreements.

Physical Requirements

  • This job requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances
  • (computer screens, accounting ledgers).
  • Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (repetitive motion).
  • Ability to sit or stand in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate verbally via telephone
